Anandadhara is the West Bengal implementation of the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). It aims to mobilize the rural poor into self-managed, federated institutions and support them in achieving improved access to financial services, rights, and entitlements.

In Paschim Medinipur, DMMU plays a pivotal role in implementing Anandadhara's objectives. Our activities include:

• Formation and Strengthening of Self-Help Groups (SHGs): Mobilizing rural women into SHGs to promote collective action and mutual support.
• Capacity Building and Training: Organizing training programs to enhance skills in areas such as institutional building, financial management, and livelihood promotion.
• Financial Inclusion: Facilitating access to credit and banking services to empower SHG members economically.
• Livelihood Promotion: Supporting income-generating activities and entrepreneurship among SHG members.
• Market Linkages: Creating platforms like Srishtishree to provide SHG products with better market access and fair pricing.
